Arrival and Departure from your apartment.

Please read the following steps in order to familiarize yourself with our arrival and departure process, like receiving the keys of your apartment or getting refunded your damage deposit upon departure from the apartment.


1. Together with the confirmation of your reservation, MontrealStays.com will send you an email containing all the information you need for your arrival:

2. You will be asked to inform MontrealStays.com, prior arrival in Montreal so that an agent from MontrealStays.com can greet you at the building with the keys.

3. Please note; for arrivals after 16.00 there is a late check-in fee of 40$.

4.When you arrive at the apartment the MontrealStays.com agent will provide you with the following:

  • Keys for entry to the apartmen
  • Walk through the apartment
  • Instructions on how to use the equipment in the apartment like Air Conditioning, Washing Machine, oven etc.,
  • Explain any items like garbage removal specific to that neighbourhood, local grocery store location, directions to metro station or other information regarding the area in general.
  • Collect the rental amount if payment is made in cash. Exact amount will be stated in your arrival and departure information then will be sent to you upon confirmation of your reservation.

5. During your stay at the apartment in Montreal we ask you to contact MontrealStays.com IMMEDIATELY if you find anything missing or in bad condition or if you accidentally break anything so that we can fix or settle whatever it is. We want you to enjoy your stay and not be inconvenienced by something which can be fixed or replaced.

6. Contact us during business hours for anything like restaurant recommendations, directions from where you are if lost or just general questions regarding either the apartment or Montreal.

7. Departure should be at 10 am if you require a later departure let us know in advance and we will try to accommodate you providing our next arrival is not early the same day. A member of our staff will be at the apartment at 10am to.

  • Collect the apartment keys
  • Walk-through the apartment with you.

Please note that the damage deposit will be refunded within 10 days of your departure if the walk-through provided no damage reports.

8. You may reserve a car service for your departure by calling MontrealStays.com a few days before.
