     The area is called “Le Village”, a part of the downtown district of Ville Marie or central Montreal. While the office towers of the financial district and Mc Gill University are only a few metro stops away, le village has, as the name suggests, a village feel, offering an impressive kaleidoscope of life with its eclectic mix of influences and diversity of inhabitants.

     Le Village is first Bohemian, with its antique stores and galleries lining an extensive part of Amherst street. Then it is designer, with fashion stores mixed comfortably alongside the local Boulangerie (bakery), Italian Deli, many cafés and local grocery stores. Le Village is entertainment, offering an extensive variety of restaurants. 5 star French cuisine, to Mexican, Sushi, Italian, Vietnamese, Thai, Moroccan, Indian, and casual bistro dining too. Le Village is about people, as the only neighbourhood selected by the city of Montreal to become the first fully pedestrian main street, with at least 10 blocks of the village core returned to the people for walking, strolling, shopping, eating, all car free, all summer long. July brings 300 artists to the village streets for the International Open-Air Arts Festival. The Apartment

     Montreal has some very unique and beautiful architecture. As a visitor you will quickly fall in love with the grand homes of Montreal with their multi-color facades and the charming spiral staircases that grace these historic homes. This apartment is your unique chance to live in one of these historic spiral staircase, triplex style homes. Gracefully renovated, this 1910 house maintains many original features, and the exposed brick work gives both charm and authenticity. Interior designer decorated, the furniture and fittings are modern, luxurious, fashionable and comfortable. The apartment is a quite, relaxed refuge away from the bustling neighbour just beside – ah, Le Bliss!

     There is everything you’ll need to have a short term stay. Fully equipped kitchen, TV, DVD, wireless internet, laundry facilitates, air conditioning, bed linen & towels and much more. There is also a large, private deck to eat al fresco or take an evening cocktail.

     There is one large bedroom, with lots of storage space. A separate office space, a comfortable lounge, dining area, and a fully stocked kitchen. In addition, there is a sofa bed that can accommodate visitors. Private parking is available.
